2015 Annual Dinner is scheduled for the 9th of March (Monday). It will be held according to tradition in the Old Library with an exciting talk by an alumnus from Sidney, Mr Richard Lindop of Jacobs Group, who will be speak about his varied career in the Rail Industry.


We are currently researching the society's history and would very much like to hear from alumni, about their past involvement with StephSoc. Current knowledge is that it existed long before 1966, when Prof. Douglas Green (now Emeritus Fellow of Sidney Sussex College) joined, but how long before then, nobody really knows.

There is talk of StephSoc being Cambridge's oldest college engineering society, but without sufficient evidence, this cannot be proved. Read more...
